HISTORY
- 1859 : In Saint-Sever, at the heart of the moors of Gascony, the very land of traditional farming of gooses and ducks, the Crabos family created a company specialised in the trade of feathers and down that was to distinguish itself by its know-how and the quality of its products.
- May 1968 : The Établissements Crabos became Pyrenex SA and started to distribute finished products under their brand: naturally filled quilts, pillows, bolsters, sleeping bags and jackets. Pyrenex was born.
- The success of the brand culminated with the booming of winter sports. The brand then became famous thanks to its flagship product: down jackets.
- For four generations, the Crabos family has been faithful to its founding values and has been pursuing the development of Pyrenex, thanks to increasingly innovating methods and processes. It now exports 60% of its production all over the world.
